For the first 7 months of the year, Germany is still the leading market for Vietnam's coffee consumption, with 160,504 tons, equivalent to $ 243.54 million, priced at $ 1,517.4 / ton, up 2.2% in volume. down 1.5% in turnover and 3.6% in price compared to the same period in 2019; accounting for 15.3% of the total volume and accounting for 13.6% of the total coffee export turnover of the country.
The US is the second largest market for Vietnamese coffee consumption, reaching 89,241 tons, equivalent to $ 160.36 million, priced at $ 1,797 / ton, down 8.8% in volume, down 1.3% in turnover, but up 8 , 2% in price over the same period; accounting for nearly 9% of the total volume and total turnover.
Coffee exports to the Italian market also decreased 1.7% in volume, down 4.2% in turnover and 2.6% in price, reaching 89,537 tons, equivalent to 139.7 million USD, average price 1,560 USD / ton, accounting for 8% of total volume and total turnover.
